Baltimore gynecologist secretly filmed patients with pen camera, police say.

March 3, 2013PRLog — Baltimore police say a gynecologist suspected of secretly recording exams and later killing himself used a pen camera to make some of the recordings found at his home.
More than 2,000 patients and former patients have contacted investigators looking into secret recordings made by a Dr. Nikita Levy, who was fired and later killed himself after the recording allegations surfaced, according to police.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Tuesday that investigators have started contacting the Johns Hopkins doctor’s patients. However, he said the investigation will be a lengthy and slow process.

Guglielmi says police are investigating whether the images found at his Towson home were posted to the internet but would not say whether investigators have found if that happened.
